Pretty much everything that could go wrong, went wrong this morning.  I missed the bus, I forgot to write the setlist the night before, so I had to guess what the sets were, I had about 9 seconds of dead air, because I forgot to press on, for the mini-disc channel, plus the power went out during my last song.

I got lazy during spring break, and didn’t keep up with my 1 comic a week resolution.
I just realized that I’ve been doing this now for over a year now, and I’ve been reflecting on it.  Has my drawing improved? Yes.  Does it have a long way to go?  A resounding yes.  I would have liked to find out more about myself; look inside in a more reflective manner, and find something out life and its simple moments.  I’m not accomplishing it, because I’m not doing it often enough.  I pick one moment from a whole week, and draw it.  By doing this, I pick only interesting and important things to reflect on.  If I start increasing the amount of entries(I might do this, starting this summer), I would be forced to draw more mundane things.  This way, the entries would become a greater reflection of my life as a whole, rather than a single moment from a 168-hour period.

Fantastic record store in Des Moines.  I bought  some Chuck Berry, Jack Penate, and “Hot August Night”.
I wish we had a place like this in Ames.

I had coffee jitters for most of the day.  The third panel was a combination of sleep deprivation and being coked to the gills on caffeine.  I was making stupid comments at the tv, and laughing my ass off.

The feeling pretty much left by the next day.

I was cutting my own hair, and cut the front about half an inch.  I only wanted to get my hair off my shoulders.  I gave the scissors to Danny, to do the back, I didn’t explain my plan well enough, and he cut off 2-3 inches.  I was neurotic for the entire day.  I’m going to draw myself with long hair from now on, because the person that I draw is more of a character, and I would feel weird changing it permanently.
This comic happened last night, while typing a paper about visual elements, for 342.
